This service is a warranty upgrade ideal for customers who cannot return failed drives for RMA because they may contain sensitive data. If a drive covered by this service is determined to have stopped functioning during our parts warranty term, Puget will replace the drive without requiring the failed unit to be shipped back. Proof of destruction of the failed drive may be required.
Please note that a separate instance of this service must be purchased for each hard disk and solid-state drive in your system. The length of time this covers is based on the parts warranty length purchased with the system (typically 1, 2, or 3 years).
